Gould’s Bookstore – King street, Newtown

If you’re into out-of-print books and magazines, you will love this place. It’s the bookstore of all bookstores with collections that span two floors and 23 aisles. There are sections on history, poetry, plays, fiction, movies, science, philosophy, and all areas of human interest and endeavour. My friend and I went for a five minute peak inside which turned into an hour long browsing session with her looking at American history and journalism and with me collecting vintage fashion magazines. I came across fashion and photography magazines that were dated back to the 1980s and a hard copy, A3, once-off Harpers Bazaar from 2007. So inspired!
